Bulk Moringa Leaf: A Wholesale Buyer's Guide

2026-10-30

Bulk moringa is the dried leaf of Moringa oleifera, a fast-growing tropical tree. It is sold milled into a fine green powder or cut for tea bags. India is the largest producer, and other tropical origins, Ecuador among them, also supply the market.

Powder vs tea bag cut

Moringa powder is milled fine for smoothie and drink mixes, capsules, and food applications where it disperses into the product. Tea bag cut keeps the leaf in small pieces for brewing. Color is a quick quality cue for powder: a fresh, well-dried lot is a bright green, while dull or brown powder points to age or heat damage.

Where it is used

Buyers use moringa in green powder blends, smoothie and drink mixes, capsules, baked goods and bars, and herbal teas.

What to check on the COA

Match the lot number and test date on the certificate to the lot you are quoted, then read the results against your own specification, not just the seller's. For moringa leaf, read the microbiology section first: total plate count, yeast and mold, and the pathogen screen. Dried leaf is often not heat treated, so these results vary more lot to lot than they do for many spices. Then check heavy metals, moisture, and, for organic lots, the pesticide screen. See how to read a certificate of analysis for the full walkthrough.

Buying notes

The minimum order is one unit, meaning one full pack. Every listing shows a live per-kilogram price at the highest volume tier, and quotes come back within one business day with the lot COA, the specification sheet, and freight options. Stock sits in US warehouses and is already cleared into the United States, so there is no import step on your side. Most listings offer a sample before you commit.
